Kate is a second-year student at the University of Minnesota. She is from the northern suburbs of Chicago and loves spending time in the many forest preserves around her house and up in Wisconsin. She is studying Environmental Science, Policy, and Management on the Policy, Planning, Law and Society tracks at the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources.  Since moving to the Twin Cities, she enjoys exploring the cities and finding small coffee shops to do homework in, as well as adventuring into the many surrounding parks and trails.
