It’s just about move-out time! Need to move or downsize and don't know what to do with your stuff? Reduce waste generated by students moving out, and donate items to the Pack and Give Back program! ReUse will take your items and sort, sell, or dispose of them! There will be boxes and pods (pickup) to collect goods for students living in on-campus housing. Off-campus students can bring items directly to the Reuse Program warehouse during open hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
ReUse Warehouse is located at 883 29th Ave SE, Minneapolis MN, 55414! You can only donate materials during normal business hours, it is illegal to dump materials outside of these hours.
Donations to Pack and Give Back are open to ALL residents in the Marcy-Holmes, Southeast Como, Prospect Park, and Cedar-Riverside neighborhoods. Students are encouraged to donate things they no longer need or use!
Alternatively, you can store your stuff with the ReUse Student Summer Storage Program this summer! Instead of tossing items away when you move and buying new items in the fall, store them with ReUse! Save your stuff and store it while you’re gone! Any student can use this service for storage. Students can sign up and bring their belongings to the ReUse Program for summer or short term storage.
You can choose to store your belongings for the whole summer ($40 per box) or short term storage (1 month or less for $20 per box). The box dimensions are 48 inches long by 24 inches wide by 28 inches tall, about 19 cubic feet. “All items MUST fit inside of the storage box we provide. We cannot accept or store any items that do not completely fit inside of the provided storage boxes.” Fill out this Google Form to sign up!
